We will be leaving the church at 9:30am on Monday morning and will be returning Friday around 1pm. Registration is required.
GENERAL INFORMATION
What to Pack: Bible, bedding or sleeping bag, blanket and pillow. Casual clothes for outdoor activities, jacket, sweatshirt, sneakers, flip-flops or sandals, towels for shower and swimming, toiletries, sunscreen, flashlight. Swimwear: Girls—modest one-piece swimsuit or tankini that overlaps at the waist. Guys—swim shorts or board shorts.
Camper Cash System - Fun Fangle Wristbands: PARENTS WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL BEFORE THEIR CHILD’S WEEK OF CAMP WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ADD SPENDING MONEY TO THEIR CAMPERS’ ACCOUNT STRAIGHT FROM THEIR PHONE VIA CREDIT/DEBIT CARD.
What NOT to Pack: Cell phones, any electronic devices including smart watches. No magazines, knives, cigarettes or tobacco of any kind, vapes, drugs, alcohol, fireworks or firearms.
Dress Code: We strive to maintain a standard of modesty and we do reserve the right to request a change in clothing deemed inappropriate. Loose fitting middle of the thigh or longer shorts, loose fitting pants and T shirts are acceptable. Please do not bring yoga pants, tank tops, short shorts, or bikinis.
Christian Conduct: As a Christian organization, Camp Calvary seeks to glorify God in all we say and do. Any camper who is non-cooperative or non-compliant to any guidelines or policies is subject to dismissal without refund.
Swimming: Separate swim times are scheduled for men and ladies, with the exception for Family Camp swim times, mud-pit activities or special events at which time we ask guys and girls to wear a t-shirt over their swimsuits.
*Boating: All boating is done off camp property at Blue Marsh Reservoir. There is an additional $5 fee and a completed permission slip required for campers to participate in Lake Day. Thank you.
Lost and Found: Lost items not requested within two weeks will be donated to charity. Requested items will be returned for a $10 S&H fee.
Food Allergies: All meals are included in the price of the camping program. Those on special diets must bring their own supplements. A refrigerator/microwave are available for your food preparations. A menu can be obtained by contacting our head cook, Kris Klecker at campcalvarykitchen@gmail.com 2 weeks prior to your campers arrival.
Sick Camper Policy: If a camper gets sick or has a fever, parents/guardians will be notified and arrangements made for pick up. A doctor release note is necessary for camper to return.
First Aid: A health care provider will be on call as needed. Special instructions will be given at camp for those taking prescription medications.
